Image of NGC7023, also known as the Iris nebula. I love this region full of dust with its central reflection nebula. It’s quite hard to process this nicely and keep the balance between, dust, stars and other details. I’m quite happy with this result as it is now, especially with the real deep image of all the dark dust in this region.
I used my own dataset from 2015 taken in the Eifel in Germany combined with a dataset from Chris Gaudy. This resulted in a lot of great details in the region. I really enjoyed processing this.
