Somewhere in October I started with gathering some data of M42 with my TMB92. With this scope it was finally possible to get this nebula in my field of view. Weather only didn’t cooperate lately (nicely said). So when it was clear yesterday I did shoot some more data. It is not enough yet for sure (especially in the dark areas), but the first step is made. I really hope for a few good night to finish this one properly. Because, even as it is known as an beginners object (duh…), I still think it’s beautiful and not easy at all because of the many contrasts.
